How to Equip Omamori — Charm Slots, Stacking and DLC Redemption

Published 2026-09-12Updated 2026-09-183 min read

Omamori equipping explained: the two charm slots, how effects stack, and the save-mirror menu path for redeeming DLC charms.

Two slots, stacked effects — charms are quiet build multipliers.

Omamori charms are Onimusha: Way of the Sword's passive equipment, and the system is refreshingly simple: two slots, free stacking, one menu.

Equipping a Charm

  1. Press M to open the main menu and choose Equipment.
  2. Switch to the Omamori tab.
  3. Select an empty slot, pick any charm you own from the list on the right, and confirm.

You can carry two omamori at once, and their effects stack — pair a soul-gain charm with a defensive one, or double down on a single stat.

Claiming DLC and Bonus Charms

Bonus charms (including demo and edition rewards) don't appear in your inventory automatically:

  1. Interact with a save mirror and open its menu.
  2. Choose Check Add-On Content.
  3. Redeem every listed charm reward — only then do they enter your omamori inventory.
  4. Return to the Equipment menu and slot them as above.

If a claimed charm still doesn't show up, check the haori troubleshooting guide — the same DLC-delivery quirks (uninstalled packs, Steam checkbox, needing a restart) apply to charms too.
