Oni Hideout Far-East Route — High Ground or Dead End

The Oni Hideout's rightmost zone, step by step: bow-triggered stone blocks, the ring courtyard's left stairs, and the basement crawl behind the strength stone.

The Oni Hideout's far-east section can't be reached from ground level — a fact the game communicates purely by letting you fail. The route runs on bow-triggered mechanisms and high-ground detours, starting from the Inner Hall mirror.
Before You Start
Activate the Inner Hall save mirror (the Hideout's first), pass through the building ahead, and grab the chest on the right: the Oni Bow. Everything in this route needs it equipped.
The Route
- Exit the building and clear the Genma wave ahead. Look up: a floating stone block hangs near a red glowing mechanism orb. Shoot the orb and the block shifts, building a stepping-stone path.
- Reach the large ring courtyard — the big mob-respawn arena. Clear it, then do not follow the main path forward. Instead, find the wooden stairs on the courtyard's left and jump across to the raised platform opposite.
- Hug the right edge of the high platform and walk it all the way to the area's far right. Watch your footing at the gaps — jump where the platform visibly continues.
- Drop down at the platform's end onto the easternmost ground: a standalone house, a strength stone chest, and a stone-bridge side path.
Why the ground floor fails: it's a genuine dead end. Every attempt to route along the bottom just funnels you back — the map's east side only connects at the upper level.
Inside the House
- Cross the stone bridge straight into the small house on the right and loot its chest.
- Inside, find the ladder down to a basement room holding collectibles.
- Climb back to the ground floor, then slip through the small hole in the wall — it exits into the Hideout's far-easternmost zone.
That closes out the Hideout's secrets. For the full chapter flow around it, see the Oni Hideout walkthrough.
