Official performance targets for Onimusha: Way of the Sword — 2160p/60 performance modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X, Switch 2 at 1080p/30, plus PC spec guidance with DLSS 4 and FSR 3.1.

Four platforms, one spec sheet.

Capcom published the official performance parameters for every platform Onimusha: Way of the Sword ships on, alongside PC configuration guidance built around DLSS 4.0 and FSR 3.1 upscaling. The headline: every box targets 60 FPS in its performance mode, at dynamic resolutions that vary by machine.

Console Targets

PS5 / Xbox Series X

  • Performance mode: dynamic resolution up to 2160p at 60 FPS
  • Quality mode: dynamic resolution up to 2160p at 30-40 FPS
  • Note: performance mode can dip in a few high-load scenes

Xbox Series S

  • Performance mode: 1080p (dynamic) at 60 FPS
  • Quality mode: 1080p (dynamic) at 30-50 FPS

Nintendo Switch 2

  • TV mode: 1080p (dynamic) at 30 FPS
  • Handheld mode: 900p (dynamic) at 30 FPS, with an optional variable frame rate setting reaching 30-40 FPS

PC Notes

The PC guidance pairs a 1080p/30 low-spec floor with DLSS 4.0 and FSR 3.1 as the intended performance levers — and real-world testing shows upscaling matters well above the minimum: a DLSS 5 mod run on an RTX 4090 still needed Quality mode for comfortable 4K. If you are tuning a mid-range rig, start with upscaling before touching settings.

One dating note: these specs were published when the game was slated for September 25 — Capcom since moved launch up to September 4. The targets carried over unchanged.
