Third Visit to Rakuto Walkthrough — Murasaki's SOS and the Thunderstorm Tag Team

A shorter chapter built around one showpiece fight: the thunder brothers' tag-team rematch at Kennin-ji.

Anxious Murasaki Shikibu

From Rokudochinno-ji, warp to the Shijo Avenue mirror and enter the miasma-covered zone on the map. This is the established loop: destroy miasma flowers, clear mobs, absorb Prison Windows.

There are two windows. The second one spawns the Dofuten elite, so bring your best rhythm — after that, a cutscene sends you back to Murasaki Shikibu with the good news.

Bad news arrives with it: Oikaze and Rairei have crawled back from Hell and demand a rematch to restore their honor. Musashi, politely, accepts.

Thunder and Wind Have Their Day

Return to Kennin-ji. Before the boss door, two Prison Windows spawn — absorb both, restore your items, then step inside for the tag-team boss fight: Oikaze & Rairei.

It's one of the game's best-designed encounters. Rather than just throwing two movesets at you, the brothers gain duo combo attacks — coordinated sequences neither uses solo. The combo choreography actually softens some of the old pain points (the thunder slam you dreaded in the solo fight comes with new opening windows here). The catch is the shared health pool: four bars between two bodies means the fight is a war of attrition, so upgrade your weapon and armor at a mirror beforehand.

The one execution rule: both brothers attack in sequence, so keep them both in your viewport and never give either your back. Reposition constantly; pick your parries against the brother in front while tracking the one circling behind.

After the double knockout, a cutscene at the temple brings the next alarm: Arashiyama has fallen. Musashi volunteers to scout it — on to Arashiyama.
